Based in Philadelphia, PA, Menus & Venues is the food and beverage division of URBN, which owns and operates Pizzeria Vetri, Gatehouse, Terrain Cafe & Events, and Shop 543. Both the restaurants and venues put creativity first to provide immersive guest experiences and pair culinary ethos that places locality, seasonality, and quality as their cornerstones.
During my time as a Graphic Design Intern, I worked closely with my team to push creatively the design, hospitality and marketing goals of each individual establishment. This included illustrated e-gift card designs for Terrain Cafe, seen on their website today. I also collaborated with the marketing interns to build a campaign for the second-annual Pizzeria Vetri Paws competition, where patrons of the restaurant can submit pet pics for the chance to win exclusive goodies. This included both digital and print collateral such as illustration assets for all deliverables, Instagram story posts for voting and bracket play, marketing emails, posters, and assistance with photography. I also designed a limited-time winter pizza box for Pizzeria Vetri and various other small projects that supported day-to-day operations.
